WOOOOOOO!!! I made it! I can play crysis! lol. Will the system pass one of those cheap video cards that has 512 or more memory? It's got 512, it must go fast!!!
I hit everything on recommended except for the graphics, the 7900GS in the system currently can't handle recommended, but the 8800GTX on order will. muahahahaha.
After I ran this, a crevasse formed between myself and my computer, probably about 2 feet wide. Just enough to catch my attention.
Then my computer gave me an error message (*The following web site http://www.yougamers.com/gameometer/10213/ has hurt my feelings, windows will now shut down until I feel like starting back up*)
Um.. for I am 1 bar away from recommended - only 1.5 gig of memory... with an 8600gt 256mb card =P
Yeah, I tested my computer for Crysis, and It doesn't quite register everything right. It says that my X1950pro only has 256 megs, that's half true, I have two in crossfire. The test didn't recognize the crossfire cards.
I guess what I meant to say is that the gameometer doesn't register my crossfire set up. However, when the crossfire is activated, I do have a total of 512 mb of framebuffer memory between the two cards.

No no, if you have two graphics cards in SLI or Cross Fire and both cards have 256MB of Vram you can't say you now have a 512MB frame buffer it don't work like that. Each card renders one half of the screen at 256MB and the other half at 256MB, you still have a 256MB framebuffer with both cards. Graphics cards don't run in dual channel mode, but they do work together.
Haven't you guys played the beta? I've played it and on my main computer is running pretty decent on medium that's on a athlon x2 5200+, an ati radeon x1950xt and 2gb of a-data vitesta ram.
It runs like absolute rubbish on low on my 3700 (at 2.6) x1950 pro system with 2gb RAM. That's at any resolution, even 640x480. 15-25fps average outside. In a gunfight I can get below 15.

OUCH!!! I'm betting than my AMD 3200+ w/x1800xt 256mb would be an absolute slide show

Well let's put things into perspective here. My dad has 4gb RAM and vista x64. He has an E6600 @2.7 (I think) and an x800GTO overclocked to something that I don't remember. He get's consistantly better framerates than me (I'd say he gets 20fps min and averages around 35) on low settings with a higher resolution even. He just get's graphical anomolies coz the beta doesn't support SM2 cards, like cloaked guys turn white and appear through walls and terrain, and you can see them across the whole map. It's an unintentional cheat
I tested my system and its quite a bit above the Recommended.
And by the way I have a HD2900Pro 1GB GDDR4 running the Catalyst 7.10 drivers and in 3DMark05 beat a system thats the same as mine only it has a 8800GTS 640 by about 3k.
So yea the HD2900Pro is a good card and the drivers are just now unleashing its potential.
And God has something way better than a 9800xt x3 in SLI. He has a 28000 x8 in SLI 2.0 all running on PCIe 4.0. Not to mention his 32 core CPU running at 5GHz each and 32Gigs of dual channel DDR6 and 50terabytes in a SATA5 RAID0.
