Question Can Unparked Laptop CPU cause thermal throttling? Possible since happened before. Please advice.

Specs: i5-8250U 4-core 8-thread upto 3.40Ghz
Geforce 940MX
8GB memory win10 1Tb
Last time I remember I faced a very persistent fps drop (35 to 18fps) in all games after I used the Unpark CPU program.
Now its not happening since I factory formatted my Laptop. Although, after unparking CPU, I got a significant performance boost, I am hesitant and unsure whether thermal throttling is caused by unparked CPU.
Any pointers would be appreciated.

cpu/gpu temp? running on battery or plug in?

Nothing Abnormal. Cpu around same as now( 79-81 degrees) gpu- 80 degrees. Gaming always on battery. Right now The CPU is parked, not going to unpark unless I'm certain that Unparkd CPU can cause Throttling.
