Question Can UPS damage my build ?

I recently bought a schneider 500va ups. My total voltage usage is : 350w. PSU: 550W. My UPS's max watt is 300w.
Im wondering that is lower watt than required can damage my pc ?

Yes that is too small to be useful. As soon as the power goes out the UPS will go to overload and the PC will turn off. If you know that your PC uses 350W then go to APC website and look at the runtime tables. It will show that you way more than 300W.

Ok i understand its not useful but i wanna learn that is this ups can damage my system. Or the only problem is cant keep pc open when power gone.

I returned schneider 500va and i bought FSP 800VA that can give 480W. I hope it will be enough.
