Question Can USB 4 use thunderbolt dock? Asus zephyrus g14 ga402xv (2023 version)

Hi! So the g14 has usb 4 but i don't know if it's the 20gbps one or 40gbps one. I tried to reach asus but no response yet. I want to use dual monitor with the dock, one is 1080p 144hz and the other is 1440p 165hz.i got mixed answer while searching on google but with 8 bit color depth, it's around 8 and 15 gbps? Either way i don't think if i asus implement the 20gbps one i can't use it in one port.

So basically:
- is asus Asus zephyrus g14 ga402xv have usb 4 with 20 or 40 gbps? Or every usb 4 has 40 gbps and i was reading it wrong?
- if it has 40 gbps, can i use thunderbolt dock?
- if i can, should i get thunderbolt3 or 4 dock?

The Zephyrus delivers 40GBit/s (USB4 gen3x2)
not all USB4 will provide 40, USB4 gen2x2 (USB3.2 Gen2x2) will provide 20Gbit/s

But why would you want such a bad rated laptop?

Thunderbolt 4 is not USB 4
If you connect a TB dock, you could be lucky and the handshake will provide 40, or if unlucky the minimum: 20Gbit/s.
If you wanna connect a TB4 dock, get a laptop with TB4 port

USB4 is not required to support Thunderbolt. If it doesn't say it has Thunderbolt support on the spec sheet, then it doesn't have Thunderbolt support.

to connect both monitors you really don´t need to know the bandwidth
check if the Hub is compatible with displayport1.4 or HDMI 2.1

which monitors do you have exactly?
