Can we recover overlapped data

I deleted 300 gb data and now I have 400 gb data
But size oh HDD is 500 gb
Can I recover previous 300 gb data

Unfortunately, it is impossible to recover overwritten data. 🙁 Even if there is a slight chance for this, you'd need to send the HDD to a data recovery company that uses special equipment which can read the residual magnetism. But then again, your overwritten data capacity is bigger than the previous one, so it's most probably gone.
I strongly suggest to keep backups of your files on several different locations, so that you'd avoid such unpleasant situations!
