Sure, should work just fine. I just set up wife's laptop with a similar config for voice recognition/dictation applications. Just install the USB adapter and let Windows install default drivers. Then power on your headset and set to pairing mode. Your adapter will detect the headset and allow you to pair the devices. Really pretty easy. Have fun!

Go to the manufacturer's website and download the latest Windows 7 driver for the headset/Bluetooth adapter if the adapter isn't being detected.
