I have just installed a pair of 8GB DDR3 1600Mhz RAM 1.5volts in my laptop that has an i7-4700HQ processor and everything is working fine. However, when I checked the 4700HQ's specs at Intel's website I found that the RAM specs is DDR3L. Any opinions?

Solution
DDR3L is just a low voltage version of ddr3, so unless it SPECIFICALLY requires low voltage ram (unlikely), then any ddr3 module should work if it is at a compatible frequency or voltage.
