Question Can we use Oem power supplies of dell in custom builds

Hello folks,
I want to ask is it possible that you can use oem power supply from dell like the power supply from t5500 model
dell n875ef

In other custom pc or other oem mine is dell optiplex 3010
So i want to use rx580 8gb in mine is dt version of dell optiplex 3010 the main issue is its psu that is 250watt only
Specs are
I5-3470
8gb ram
Now i am getting this dell oem supply from t5500 in good price and i loved it as its 80 plus silver and fully modular i think in cheap price.
So is it possible for me to swap them and use t5500 psu in my optiplex 3010
And in future in custom build.

Do not take care of space as i already removed the mobo from case.

I have utilized some of Dells gold rated supplies in budget builds where the owner didn't want to output cash on even a meager unit. I would say all in all, and with age being part of the consideration, that they worked pretty well in most cases.

Concerns will be the size format of the supply and whether it has all the connectors you need. So far as I am aware, other things that will come into play will (in particular) be the front panel headers as Dell utilizes a proprietary connector. There are adapters and guides to get around it.

Only if the cables on it are ATX specification.
