can wifi range extenders work with cannon pixma wifi printers

Hi can you help my cannon pixma mg 7550 wifi printer stops working half way through a printout ann error page comes up saying I have lost connection will a wifi range extender help

It may help if you have a weak WiFi signal to where the printer is. Test the printer close to the router.

Hello, I have a Pixma 922 and when I am on my wifi extender it prints off my IPhone, If I turn off wifi on my phone it can't find the printer from the extender and the main router. Hope this helps

Different issues. When you turn off WiFi, your phone is no longer on the same network as the printer, that is why yours won't work that way.
