Can Win Me use 768Megs?

I had 512 Megs of SDRam - 133Mhz and just added anothe 256-133Mhz Stick for a total of 768Megs of Sdram-133. Just had a co-worker saying that WinMe can not handle this much Ram and that I just slowed me system down by doing this. Is this try??
