Can Win tablet run Linux? Or other MS versions?

So i want to buy Win 8.1 tablet and i though maybe i can run Linux on it. Maybe some small distro like DSL or Elive 'couse these two eat maximal DSL only uses 21mb ram.
Will be touch screen problems?
Will onscreen keyboard work?
Will other versions of windows run? Like win 7/10(x86)

There is no reason why it won't however you will need to load a touchscreen linux distro to be able to use it, the onscreen keyboard needs to be part of the OS. Win 10 will definitely work, win 7 would probably but be frustrating to use (why bother). Also Win 7 doesn't have a built in onscreen keyboard, but I am sure someone offers something out there you could download.
