Hello Friends 👍

In all honesty, (hands down) THIS Forum beats the Heck out of the Dell Forums! Thank you for all your help in the past!

My question regards a 'Foreboding' prompt I got while on the Windows 10 Pro Update settings page. Never saw it before, but suddenly there it was and read something like this: 'Your System Requirements Fail To Meet The Installation Of Windows 11'

There may have been a reason for its appearance but trust me I'm NOT interested. Maybe you folks can help me permanently get rid of it? Up to now, resistance to installing W11 has not gone away. I have too many programs I depend on and have since learned to live with Mandatory Microsoft Updates in W10 Pro. I'd just simply like to know (hopefully), I'll NEVER see that prompt again?

With Much Respect And Many Thanks!

Hey There USAF!

Good to see you again!

Is there anyway for me to GET RID of seeing that prompt again?

Thank You!
Yes, by upgrading to win 11.... 😛
The prompt will just always be there and you don't have to worry about it at all, since your hardware doesn't meet the requirements it's impossible for the upgrade to happen.

In a couple of years MS will stop support for win 10 though, so if your PC is in a work environment, since you have winpro, you will have to figure out if you can keep using the system without any internet.

Another thing to remember is even when Microsoft sunsets Windows 10 support in 2025, it doesn't mean the OS will be rendered useless or inoperable. It just means you won't get any more updates for it.

So if you want to continue using the computer with Windows 10, you can.

I want to add more to your comment, it’s not the Microsoft will stop making updates to Windows 10, security updates for both Home and Pro will continue to be released after that date, it’s just that it will no longer get feature updates and stuff like that.
