Can Windows 7 even run in my pc?

Hey People,
I just wanted to ask a question.

Can I run windows 7 in my pc?

Specs:

Intel Core 2 Duo T5750 @ 2.0ghz
3gb DDR2 Ram
Intel 965 Express Chipset Family

I'm asking you people because when i had installed windows 7, it gives me BSOD with 0x0000008 Error. Check out my thread here -

Hey,
i might have found the reason why i was getting bsod in win 7

Right now, i downloaded the latest driver for my chipset for win xp from intel website.
After installing, i started getting bsod! So i had to revert it using system restore to undo the changes and now its running smoothly.

So, could the display driver be the fault?

Oh, i also saw that u have an acer authority badge, so i would like to tell u that i have acer extensa 5620 laptop
