Question Can windows firewall cause lag experience in online games?

Might be a dumb question/thread. Just wonder if I should ask. I have Norton 360 for gamers. I can't make any changes. The only thing I did was looked up "user account control settings" in the search bar. I opened the app & moved the bar to the third slot. It gave me the option to "allow an app through firewall" I seen my games were checked in both "private" & "public" .
On the "windows defender firewall app" it gave me red & can't make changes here.

I have Norton 360 for gamers.
You see anything with Norton on it, uninstall it. Windows Defender in itself is good enough provided you practice healthy web browsing habits, i.e, you don't go into suspicious sites and clicking on random links that pop up.

To answer your question, you could include the game into the allowed apps in the traffic window/settings/rules for Windows Defender once you've uninstalled Norton.
