hello
so i am currentlly downloading my planetside 2 game , i have a rig powerfull enough to play it , but the weak point is the RAM (2GB not enough 🙁 ) but i managed to set windows virtual memory (total 6gb now) to i want to know if it will help at all

Solution
Your hard drive is physicaly slower then ram it may help some but it wont be like having the real thing installed remember win 7 vista ect having ready boost if you installed a thumb drive well it didn't really help much its why its not on the other os now.
Back in the day when win 3.1 and dos and 95 was out they had programs galore to buy saying it would double your ram but like the others it wasn't much help.
as far as i know ( and of my understanding of the "question" ) then no. but if you have allocated system ram to your graphics card, then yes, it should help (although not alot, since the clock rate of normal ram is usually around half of graphics card's ram ) :)

Readyboost is pretty much a useless gimmick now, and difficult to make work when it did help.

Virtual RAM is not going to help a game, it creates a pagefile on the hard drive to store data from the RAM that's not currently in use, and can't be used until moved back onto the RAM.
