that isn't ram. that is the page file. You don't get free ram doing that. You probably have a big enough page file now using auto, don't do what he suggested.
Page file is way slower than ram, you don't want to use it really. If you using windows 10, it will only ever use page file if you completely out of ram, so that tells you how good the system thinks it is. Its the last choice.
Page file is on C drive, and almost all storage is slower than ram. Fastest NVME right now is 2x slower than ram still. SSD & HDD are slower again. Using page file slows down your pc so its not ideal.
You don't need more ram, 16gb is enough now. unless you find yourself using all16gb now getting more won't boost performance a great deal. its more useful for people with 4 or 8 to upgrade. 32gb is overkill right now and not many games need it.
If you do need more memory, buy more physical ram. Its only real way to get more.
That is first time I ever seen someone suggest to increase page file, most videos on subject are telling people they don't need it at all. Neither is right.
The advice on and under that video makes me sad.
