So, right now these are my pc specs:
Amd Phenom || X4 840, 3.20GHz, Stock
8GB Ram 1333Mhz
nVidia Geforce Gtx 570, Stock
Gigabyte m68mt-s2p motherboard.
2.3 TB HDD
So, can anyone put together a system for $600 that'll beat this thing(only tower, DVD thingy can be ignored).
One more thing, i'm from canada so around $560 USD. You can stretch the budget a bit.

Solution
RAM matters for gaming. 6GB is enough for most games, but 8GB is the sweet spot. I was thinking of one of EVGA's other PSUs,, that one is fine.

Using CAD prices, here's what I came up with. Not the best case, but I was trying to squeeze one in for the budget.

Your PC really isn't terrible as it is. Instead of building new, have you considered running two 570s in SLI? You could also upgrade CPU (mobo too if it isn't AM3+ or if it doesn't support SLI) to make sure it doesn't bottleneck.

You would also have to upgrade PSU if you were to run SLI.

It is bottlenecking as it is in battlefield 4. If I get another 570, i'll definetely have to get a new motherboard and a cpu. And 570 in sli will make more noise. Plus 570 is outgoing now. And if I choose to upgrade than I wont have that 600 dollars.

I would rather go for r9 270x just because of mantle but thanks for replying that is really awesome.
Omg thats the exact case I have right now. But I really hate it.

I don't agree with the above build for a few reasons. The FX-8120 is Bulldozer architecture which is just bad. The Biostar board is decent but is not good for any overclocking. 4GB of RAM will bottleneck in BF4. Terrible case for cable management. PSU is not very stable.

Yes, they perform almost the same, it just depends on the personal preference. For the case I will go with the corsair 200R or the 230T

Right, I thought it was 2x4gb. You're right about the case though. But I think psu is fine. Do u mean it doesn't have enough watts or something else?

My bad, it was supposed to be the 8350, the motherboard could be replaced with the Asrock 990FX Extreme3, but is more expensive. As far as I know Ram doesnt really matter in gaming, and the PSU got a total score of 8.7 in Jonnyguru.com, and it is really cheap.

Im not so sure about battlefield but I know that COD Ghosts has a patch that drops the requierment to 4gb

Both will run at 4GB, but they will run better at 8GB. The difference is only $10 anyways, plus it runs at an extra 333 MHz bandwidth.

Yea, I think minimum would be 8 gigs for gaming and higher than that I think it's just for your satisfaction, because I don't think it makes a difference at all.
