Hello

I have been saving money these last months and next months salary would finalize my goal of 5000 dollars saved up. I havent bought a PC in 10 years..

My goal is to build the best gaming PC of 2016. The max limit is 5000 dollars and I do want to reach it so I want to use this money entirely on this PC.

Like I mentioned before I havent bought a PC in years and thus I require your help on building an ultimate PC.

So my question is.. Could you give me or build for me the ultimate PC?

If you absolutely need to stay at 5k or less let me know.

Pretty much the best you can get for gaming at that budget. This build includes:

  • ■ 6700k, the latest unlocked Core i7 (unlocked means you can overclock it). Pretty much the go-to consumer processor for high end gaming rigs.

    ■ Dark Rock Pro 3 cooler from Be Quiet!, will keep your CPU cool and give you all the overclocking headroom you need (opted against an AIO liquid cooler as personally I wouldn't entrust the safety of 3000$ of hardware to Corsair or whoever).

    ■ ASUS Maximus VIII Formula, top end motherboard with a thermal shield (mostly for show) and RGB lighting, all the connectivity you'll ever need, and high end power delivery to the CPU for better overclocking.

    ■ 32GB (2x16GB) of 2666MHz DDR4 RAM which is more than you'll need for gaming for the next 2-3 years and can be easily upgraded to 64GB.

    ■ Samsung 950 Pro 256GB NVMe drive for your OS and basic programs (e.g. web browser of choice, Steam, Skype et cetera). Features ridiculously high read and write speeds.

    ■ Samsung 850 Evo 2TB SATA SSD for games, mass storage and such. Still incredibly fast.

    ■ Dual ASUS STRIX GTX 1080s, the most powerful GPU currently available (excluding the Pascal Titan X which is not really geared towards gaming), the STRIX has a powerful cooler on it and also features RGB lighting.

    ■ CoolerMaster MasterCase Maker 5, a rather premium and beautiful case (although the case is really up to personal preference and doesn't impact performance).

    ■ EVGA 850W fully modular power supply with 80+ Titanium efficiency certification, will last you a long time and will be really quiet.

    ■ Acer Predator X34 for the monitor, a really high end 1440p ultrawide curved display with a refresh rate of 100Hz. One of the best (if not the best) monitor you can get for gaming. Being ultrawide it gives you a much better field of view in-game and the curve increases immersion. Display quality is also top notch.

    ■ RGB Peripherals from Corsair including a mechanical keyboard with Cherry MX Red switches.
