Can you change the WHOLE PCI Slot Cover Set of a PC Case?

I just got my Sharkoon VS-4 Case and looked it through a bit so I understand how everything will work. (It's my first time PC Building obviously.) There I've found out, that only 2 of the 7 PCI Slot Covers are really removable!
Of course I want to add in a graphics card, and it will already use both of these spaces. At first this won't be a big deal, but I am already thinking of adding a sound card later on, so I would need at least 1 more PCI Slot without any obstacles..

I did see already that there is one perpendicular "slot cover" you could remove easily. But It didn't seem like that would remove the other covers too. What is that one even for?

If it really is removable, it would be cool if someone could give me a link to a black Slot-Set that has 3-4 Removable ones ready. I didn't find much on my first few google searches. Thank you.

Some cases have PCI slot covers that are removable, and you can put them back in if the slot is not in use. Other cases have "blanks" that you pry or twist off that cannot be put back. Looks like you have a combination of both. The perpendicular slot cover is actually a clamp that will hold all your cards in place (the traditional method was that each expansion card was held in place with a screw).

Oh, okay then! I didn't think I would have the choice of breaking parts off my Case.. Well, thanks for answering!

By the way, any Idea on what the big perpendicular "Slot" is good for?

It's removable if you remove the upper 2 slots that are holded in using screws.

like the other guy said - it just clamps the cards in place. the cards that go into the \\\\\ slot and into the ////// slots. i actually hate those covers, it's just one more piece to get in the way.
