Can you compare my pc to a PS3?

I got a new pc and I want to check the graphical capability's. Please compare to a PS3

Intel(R) HD Graphics
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 570
RAM
8.0 GB
Microsoft Windows 10 64-bit.

No point in comparing to a console really.
In terms of gaming it won't be enough to play games past 2015 due to the cpu being a dual core. The gpu is quite weak so thats also a limiting factor.
In terms of ps3 lifecycle games. It will run anything from there but the games at the end of it's life will also struggle due to the dual core.

Spec wise the ps3 has a geforce 7800 but a slower version. A cpu that would be a bout as good as a core 2 quad q6600 and 1gb of shared memory. Of course it had the magical console optimization due to them being able to only make the game for 1 piece if hardware therfor using all sorts of tricks to get more out of it than you could on a pc.

I hope you didin't pay more than 250$ for this rig since that would be the absolute max it's worth.

to compare you must list the games PS3 can play that exist in the PC world of games, then compare each game title for the requirements (unlike a ps3 the games have requirements to be played on a pc.) and then see what is the hardware you need to play all those games that are also sold under ps3 titles.

I suggest you visit a Web site called, Can I play it ? and use the tools they will list your hardware and compare it against their vast listing of games requirements and give you a rating how well, FPS etc. you should expect for your computer.

Lastly if your expecting to play any recent titles of games, your pc is not up to the hardware requirements at all, the GTX 570 is lacking in DX12, your G3258 dual core is lacking in power to handle any AAA titles currently running.
