Can you connect a sata hdd to a firewire port?

Hello,
I have a 250 GB Sata drive that came out of my Toshiba after it got water spilled on it and fried the MB (i only had it 2 wks) the drive is still good i tried it on a friends laptop, so im wondering if i can somehow still be able to use this drive as an external drive when i get my new Laptop next week, is there a way to connect it via usb or firewire? BTW the model of the drive is Toshiba MK2576GSX
