Question Can you control RGB from the MOBO using the PCIE slot(expansion controller) instead of RGB Headers??

I think I running short on RGB headers so I was wondering if an pcie expansion slot using controller would be able to control the RGB from software by utilizing the pcie slot or does it still need to connect to the RGB header anyway??

Link to Part I'm wondering about
https://www.amazon.com/Taurus-Contr...coding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=NV4YNPNGFP3J2QJ764Z3

If I plug this into a pcie slot, would I be able to control whatever is connected to it through my motherboard or do I still need to then connect this expansion controller into a header?

If I may ask, how many RGB components do you have and what is the make and model of your motherboard? From the looks of that controller, you're still going to have to connect it to the board's RGB header, meaning that it's just a splitter. You might want to look at a splitter CoolerMaster make.

I've got a lot of RGB components I haven't added it up yet as far as how much amps and all that but it's a lot.

And my motherboard is the Gigabyte z390 Aorus Master.
