[SOLVED] Can you cut an NVMe drive down to size?

If i were to use a saw to cut the back portion off of a WD Blue SN500 NVMe to make it fit in a wifi adapter slot would this dammage the storage drive at all? this drive has a flash storage chip and a controller down near the pins but behind this is nothing but card. no circuits or anything from what i can tell https://prnt.sc/s3adoz thanks again for any help

Even if it does not destroy the drive, it is unlikely to work in a short M.2 slot designated for WiFi.

Not all M.2 ports are capable of storage devices.
