Can you do a 4-way sli with 4 MSI GTX 980 Gaming Edition with an Intel i7-5820k?

I was planning to do a 4-way sli with the MSI GTX 980s. I just want to clarify if I can use an i7 5820K. If not, then what other cpu can I use?

No you need the 5830k or the 5960x but why 4 way sli? Generally there is no imporvement over 3 cards and 2 way is generally enough.

Surely 2x980Ti's would be better in all aspects? Given how badly sli scales in 3 & 4 way I would expect 2x980Ti's to be similar or even more powerful in most scenarios with extra VRAM.
