I have just bought 10 laptops with windows 10 preloaded, when booting up it completed the windows 10 setup then does a 4 gig update for windows 10. Is there a way to download this update to just install an each laptop?

Solution
4gb update sounds to me like a new version of windows. You can download the Windows 10 media creation tool and use it to make a win 10 installer on USB and use that to update all 10 laptops

only other big update is a cumulative one and the latest of those is kb4015583 and if you download it off the windows update catalog using Internet explorer (Its the only browser that will work) you could install it using dism

Yes, but I don't think you have any control over it at a close level. You can set windows update to get updates from Microsoft, and get updates from and send updates to either PC's on local network, or PC's on local network and PC's on the internet.

Can also turn that off completely

its in settings/update & security/windows Update - Advanced Options, Choose how updates are delivered
