Can you expand any all in one CPU cooler?

I'm looking at my seidon 120v and in my mind as long as you can get the right size tubing why couldn't you expand it, or change the length for maybe a more proper fit? My main question is are these pumps capable of say a 240/280mm radiator? or does their headroom not really allow it?

The only coolers are coolers such as swiftechs coolers, such as the H240-X, as they are built from their own in house custom components.

those are advertised as expandable, but what stops the other ones from being expandable?

The inability to remove fittings without damage, and the ability to add in more components properly.
Normal CLCs dont have a reservoir, so there would not be enough fluid, and you would not be able to add enough properly once sealed for example.

so if i were to leave the fittings, and add a resevoir what would happen? Basically can i salvage the pump from this?

No not really. The pumps are not up to the task in CLCs.
