what I mean by this. Can i take my windows installation disk, get the image from it, partion my hdd and format the partion, and put the files onto that partion so I always have the repair disk just in case?
What unksol said. Better yet just make a good backup after you get windows, drivers and base software installed. That way all else fails you can do a restore and not have to re-install windows, drivers and software.
my thought was that if lets say a windows file was missing and i couldnt access it, then i could just boot from the partion and use recovery manager without the disk.
