I'm not going to comment on the rest of the build, but that keyboard and mouse would be a big downgrade. The Corsair Vengeance K95 is fully mechanical, whereas the one you suggested is a much cheaper and less durable rubber dome model.

Optical mice like the one you recommended in the bundle also generally have much lower DPI and don't work on as many surfaces.

Also, the keyboard/mouse bundle you recommended is out of stock and can no longer be bought for that price. The HDD you recommended only has 1 left in stock and may be gone before he can buy it. PC Part Picker does not automatically make sure the items are actually available.

I am not overly picky on keyboard. I love my logitech wireless one though. My Dell wired keyboards with the media buttons and volume knob are not bad either. I use a wireless logitech trackball for a mouse. :lol:

The build lohain posted has a lot of server/workstation parts, which are not optimized for gaming. He also has a 480gb add which is entirely too much for your needs. Just grab a good mid tower case (unless you prefer a full) and your build will be perfect.

Nice build, should be happy with it, not a big fan of full towers also, might look at the HAF 912 case, that's what I have my Haswell in (see sig)

Your comment shows you have no clue as to what you are talking about. The 1230v3 is nothing more than an i7 without IGP and added support for ECC ram. Their gaming capability would be no different than a 4770. That is the only so called server/workstation part in the build. The B85 pro 4 is a standard desktop motherboard.

I admit I did go overkill on the SSD. I was just seeing what I could manage for a similar cost to the OP's build, after I added the upgrades I wanted to.
