Hey guys!

First post here, so I might have bad questions. I just bought an ASUS VP249QGR and got it yesterday. It was working just fine up until 2 hours ago. We were playing Minecraft at the time, when suddenly the 3/4 of my screen changed colors (so it turned red and brown into blue colors and the grass into purple, I don't remember any other shifts) and it froze. So I turned off the pc. (With the power button, not in Windows, wich might be a problem). When I turned it back the screen was really dark blue, so basically it was on and showing black.
Everything I checked, did:
Used a tv to check if the pc is at fault, it isn't.
Checked the pc itself, everything is fine.
Restarted the pc with only 1 ram stick.
Checked the cables, everything is fine and the monitor is getting power.
In the multiple displays setting on Windows 10 the monitor is detected, if that might help.
Tried to use a VGA cable instead of HDMI, the same dark blue screen.
Extra info, my wallpaper music was hearable when I restarted the monitor without my headset plugged in.
This might help: no no signal notification is shown on the monitor if the pc is on and I pull out the hdmi cable connecting them, pressing the menu button and all the others at the bottom of the display don't make anything show up.

I strongly believe that the monitor is simply faulty, but I might be wrong. Can you guys think of anything in this situation?
