[SOLVED] Can you help me fix problem with rx 480

Hi i have asus rog strix rx 480 8gb!
Once i flashed rx 580 bios on it and it didn't boot after that until i flashed rx 480 bios into it but another issue appeared, after some time being under graphical load it will crash ! In the unigine superposition benchmark it crashes on the high preset but won't crash on the ultra one!
My question is can this be problem with the bios?

I'm not the best at bios's but I do agree that it could be problem with the bios. Did you flash the original bios back to your gpu by backing it up?

Under load if it crashes maybe power supply isnt proper, the gpu is not getting enough juice from the psu... also yes a corrupt bios can cause that... try flashing the default bios and also always make a backup when flashing different bios's...

I upgraded the psu because i thought it was the problem but no it's not the psu + how will it crash on high but not on ultra it just doesn't make sense!

No i didn't backup the original bios so i flashed one which i found on techpowerup's website!

Thats the problem u have right now... always before flashing bios's u need to backup ur previous bios... an improper bios will cause the system to crash... Now what u can do is to try and flash different bios versions and see which one works...

sorry for replying after this much time but i had bios named "67DFHB.15.50.0.0.AS29 " and flashed "67DFHB.15.50.0.0.AS40" and it worked!
edit: after running tests it turned out not to work!

Welp after underclocking the vram from 8000mhz to 7800mhz it stopped crashing!

its all due to instability... backup always before bios mods...
