can you know if you have released static electricity

i accidentaly touched one of the gold pins when i opened the box and i wasant grounded the floor was ceramic tile,
i am worried that i fried my ram and i would like to know if you release static electricity into an eletrical component can you feel a shock like when you have static and you touch somewhone and you both get shocked or you cant know?
also would like to know if there are any chances that my ram is still alive.

You should be fine. I've built hundreds of PC's on the carpet over 25 years and never fried anything. People way freak out over static.

Very high likelihood there is no issue memory really inst all that sensitive to static electricity.

Not that you shouldn't take precautions but electrostatic discharge killing RAM is going to be rare.
