I just bought a 120GB PNY SSD and I want to move Windows 10 to it without moving my programs etc as the ssd is smaller. Is there any way I can do this?

Solution
Cloning basically copies the whole drive, also the programs on the convential drive aren't going to be accessable from the SSD with it as the boot drive. Best would be to either do a clean install or else uninstall all the programs that won't be moved then clone the drive to the SSD

Yeah if you don't want to clone the drive best would be to unplug your boot drive (so only drive installed is your ssd) and cleanly install Windows, updates, and drivers. Then plug your old drive back in, and go into the bios and make sure it boots to the new drive. Then uninstall Windows from the old drive
