Solution Someone Somewhere Mar 18, 2014 That's Windows RT, which is for ARM-based devices. Windows 8 doesn't have the same restrictions, and any software that works on 7 is 99.9% certain to work on 8. Whether or not you'll like the UI of 8 is another question.
