Can you play Dishonored 2 with 8GB of RAM?

According to the system specs, the answer is yes. With a 4690K, 8GB RAM and 4GB 970 FTW Dishonored 2 keeps crashing due to low memory. I've turned off HBAO?, reduced the distance as much as possible, reduced settings to medium and changed from fullscreen to bporderless windowed and it still crashes. I validated the files through Steam. The FPS is locked to 60FPS. I watch my memory with MSI AB and it doesn't reach 6GB before the crash. Does that mean MSI AB is ignoring Windows RAM needs?

Any help here? About to try it with settings bottomed out but I though my PC was a little better than low end.

If Dishonored 2 is complaining about RAM then most likely it is GPU RAM, not the RAM on your motherboard. 8GB should be enough to play all AAA titles from 2016 and onwards, so the memory is not a problem.

Note that Dishonored 2 is notorious for crashes. The game is badly optimized for PC.
