If you mean blowing at each other, that is not the best option. Having the two fans blowing in the same can improve airflow.

There's a very large difference between 2 fans facing each other, like --> <-- and 2 fans facing the same direction, like --> -->

The first means both fans are fighting for the same air, and the stronger/faster fan will get more, but both end up with less than optimal, the second means one fan will be helping the other, so together are stronger and more able than one alone.
