[SOLVED] Can you really see a difference between 4k and 1080p?

So moving from a 1080p to 4k monitor can I really see a difference if I sit 90 cm away so nearly 3 feet from the monitor screen. Does every text looks sharper on a 4k than to 1080p and can I notice a difference.

On a 30-inch or larger monitor, yes. On a smaller monitor, maybe not.

This is the equivalent to asking if humans can see past 60hz.
