Can you recommend a good GPU upgrade for my old beasty OC’d i5-760 running at 4Ghz?

I think I can get another couple years out of this great OC'd processor, I’m looking for recommendations on a good, not necessarily top of the line, GPU to replace my GTX 460 for gaming. Just something that would balance the CPU, not bottleneck it. When I build a new PC, this PC will likely stay in use as a spare, so the GPU wouldn’t move to the new one. Budget ~$200.

Other pertinent specs:
* 750W PSU
* SSD about to be installed
* ASUS P7P55D-E Mobo
* May upgrade from 4GB to 8GB RAM

I wouldn't worry terribly about bottle-necking really. Other alternative options would be a GTX 960 or an R9 280X but I wouldn't pick them over the 4Gb 380.

R9 280x or GTX 960 are your best choices. R9 280 as well if you can find a good deal. You could also shoot for a R9 270/x or GTX 950 and add another 4 GB of RAM, which would help performance.

I like the idea of a little less superior GTX 950 and kicking another 4GB of RAM. Do you think that would be the best kick to overall framerates and performance? Or just one?

You average framer rate (which is really important) would be much better if you did do the 950 + 4 GB of ram. You would see a boost while doing other things on the computer too.
