Can you record HDMI input?

I have an all in one computer with a HDMI in. you can watch tv on it but I was wondering if I could record it. Theres is a switch on the side to switch from PC view and HDMI in view. I have tried screen/audio captures but they only capture the audio. Is there anyway to get the video as well?

that sort of depends on things... if that hdmi input is linked straight into the monitor then there probably isn't a way to intercept the stream with the pc. But if it goes through the graphics chip on the pc then it should be possible. I'd think...
The switch part does suggest that the input goes directly to the monitor thou, so it doesn't look promising...
