Can you record voice through headsets?

I'm looking at this headset http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Sades-SA-810-WCG-Professional-Gaming-Stereo-Headphone-Headset-Earphones-with-Mic-/171531577601?pt=UK_Headsets&hash=item27f0142901 i want to be able to record videos with commentary, will i be able to record my voice through the microphone to do this?

Short answer: You should be able to record via the microphone. If I read the specs correctly, it has a separate 3.5mm plug for the mic; your PC will have to have a 3.5mm line input and the ability to record from it. The fact that the mic is mounted on the headphones should make no difference.
