I dont know if the mo bo is ok for the processor or if anything else is wrong i just need to know if its ok before i order it

In any case, Do you NEED a sound card? That puts a dent in the budget alone.

Get a better X4 955BE. And you dont need a sound card.

The processor is actually a re branded athlon with a higher clock rate. It lacks the l3 cache of a true phenom. If building amd you really should be looking at an am3+ board to have the option to upgrade to bulldozer.I'd recommend this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157262&Tpk=asrock%20970. As far as the gpu the 560 will outperform the 550ti by a rather large margin. You could also look at a 6850/6870.

To all the suggestions of Phenom's and just current day AM3 chips. I disagree, if you go AMD, might as well wait for 9-19-2011 BD launch.

Yeah, even if you end up going with the Phenom II, its price will fall by alot when bulldozer comes out.

I've also heard that the radeon 6850/70 are better value than the 560ti. Look into that.

i put the wrong processor i was going to get the 995 i typed the wrong one i wanted the sound card because when i played crysis on my very very slow old computer there were sound problems so i thought it would be ok if i got a sound card and do i have to put a new topic for that form??? and i got the nvidia because its got 3d and physx
