As mentioned. Psu. Any decent 550w - 650w.

The radeon 240 is worse than the igpu Vega graphics native in the 2200G/2400G Raven Ridge APU, so that'd be something to consider instead of the tiny R3 1200.

It's not just the number of pins. PSUs that come with cases are barely adequate to function, let alone have any sort of quality to them. I would consider you lucky that your PSU has stayed alive this long. If you are unlucky, PSUs can destroy entire systems when they go bad.

You didn't mention a storage device. Do you have a HDD already? If so, you can bump this SSD down to 240GB for your Windows installation and then install most of your games on your HDD.

RX 570 is much, much better than the R7 240. No matter what, do not get the R7 240. It's was very low end 5 years ago. The RX 570 is a very good buy if you can afford it.

That setup will require a new PSU, that dumpster fire that comes with that Raidmax case isn't going to power it reliable and could even end up killing that list of parts.

If you have to skimp on any part, skimp on the storage drive, but I would still get an SSD just a smaller one. You can always add another HDD later for more storage.

So for that you could go with an APU, such as the Ryzen 3 2200G.

Yep. What he said. Big difference in you needing a decent pc that'll actually handle a decently wide variety of games or other uses, and a pc for mom that handles YouTube, mild games and photos with some alacrity. The ssd will be very handy there.

If you can stretch that to the 16Gb of g-skill, that would be advisable. The Vega graphics native to the 2200G use system memory as vram, so it'll portion out about 3-4Gb for its own uses. That'll only leave you 4Gb for windows, which is pushing it a little with things like Photoshop or other photo apps etc.

I think you missed the bejeweled post. Plus That PSU isn't good, Seasonic outsourced it's production and skimped in too many areas.

Thanks, actually i didn´t know. Btw your build is better for that purpose. Still you could drop down to 8gb ram since it will be more than enough for that use. Windows 10 works nice even with 4gb ram for light tasks.
