can you run battlefield 4 on a pentium 4 processer

I was wondering if I would be able to run bf4 off of a Pentium 4 processor 3.0 ghz I have a old pc im trying to upgrade im getting a video card and ram but is it possible and if not can you replace cpu's anyway

Battlefield 4 requires at minimum a 2.4 GHz Core 2 Duo or an AMD Athlon X2 2.8 GHz to run, according to System Requirements Lab. It is possible to upgrade the processor, but considering the age of your computer's components, you would probably be better off building a new computer. Best case, your current processor is about 7 years old.

for me, no. P4 is a very very old cpu.
Time to get a new one my friend (just my opinion), even if you put the best gpu there, it would just bottleneck the card

I wouldn't even assume he has a PCI-E slot.

Though I'd bet that it would still manage to bottleneck the very best AGP card out there, whatever that is now.

A p4 would run up to BF 2 quite well. But not 3 or 4, forget it.
