Can you run dual SLI GTX 680 with an 850W PSU?

I am upgrading my two GTX 680's to two GTX 970 SLI and I'm giving my brother my two GTX 680's to use in his computer.

He has an 850W Corsair power supply, is this enough for those cards?

I think that it's the TX850, but I can't be sure.

When I built a new computer about a year ago, I gave him my old one.

Right now he is using two HD 5870's in CFX with a Core i7 930 and 6GB RAM.

The max TPD of a GTX 680 is around 200 watts or so.

But that's only if you're running it at stock clocks and voltages.

I prefer Nvidia's newest line of GPU's because of their very low power consumption and cool temperatures. AMD Radeon cards are power hogs and are prone to overheating.

I'm guessing that Nvidia learned their lesson with the catastrophically failed "Fermi" GTX 4xx series cards.
