Can you run sli and crossfire in the same system

Hello,
if my motherboard has 4 Graphic card slots...can I run 2way SLI AND 2way Crossfire? I want to run 4 Monitors. 2x 24in Samsung LED's and 2 21in Sony Crt's is this possible. I was going to plu the LED's into the sli's and the CRT's into the crossfires...

Please let me know if this is possible...

No...the motherboard supports one or the other,not both

A mobo can have the ability to run SLI and Crossfire. Therefore, if you have enough slots, you can. But you can't combine the two you have to at least have 1 monitor for each SLI/Crossfire.

if you have a mb with a Lucid Hydra controller then you can infact run the two together but you need a board like the Asus Crosshair IV Extreme but you don't get very much of a performance boost. Better sticking off with one or the other.

I was thinking of the Asus Rampage III Black Edition. My goal is to run the 21" crt's off the xfx crossroads and the 24" LEDs off the evga's SLI. I want to get back into graphic design AND want an amazing gaming machine. I will list my pc here within 48hrs. I am looking for some feedback as to whether or not this system would run.

I am pretty good with computers, just not the best at building them.
