Can you SLI 4 Dual GPU Graphics cards?

Hello,
Can you SLI 4 Dual GPU cards? (Just out of curiosity, not like i have 4 dual GPU cards O.O)

The only dual GPU i know (current day) is the R9 295X2. It is AMD so it wouldnt be SLI, rather crossfire. And as far ive seen there can only be 2 cards in crossfire (4 GPU Total)

I don't think so. Even so, for quad SLI you need 4 PCIe at 8x, or if you have dual GPU card, 2 PCIe at 16x.

Running a card at 4x is a performance killer.

I am pretty sure you cannot go above 4 GPU. Even there, above 2 GPU, the scaling and the drivers are bad. You will get a drop in performance.

The 790 GTX. There is also the Titan Z.

There's also the Titan Z, 690, 7990 and some other dual GPU cards from brands like ASUS (ASUS Mars/II/760, Ares/II). But unregistered is right, you can only have upto 4-way SLI or Crossfire, or Quadfire/quad SLI.

No. A single dual GPU card is already in 2-way SLI (assuming it is Nvidia of course). So two of them would be 4 way sli.

not worth it, as you get vastly diminishing returns past 3 way sli.

Even if it were possible, good luck powering it. Recommended PSU wattage for two R9 295X2 in CrossFire is 1,600 watts.

You can put them together but there will be no driver to make it work in games 😀
