Is it possible since this is the same chip and do they use the same drivers? I mean I know its exactly the same card essentially...

How about an 8800 Ultra? Would they work in SLI since it is also uses G92architechture? I doubt this would work as the 9xxx series had different drivers from the 8xxx series, but Im not so sure about the 9xxx to the 2xx?

SO its confirmed that the software is different? What article says so? I will check it out if I have time.... I know my card the 9800gtx+ has hybrid SLI enabled with the proper MB but the GTS250 doesnt.... so I would assume the software is different thus making the driver totally different....

Actually, you can sli the two, but only if you flash a gts 250 bios onto the 9800gtx+ card. go to this site to find out how...

http://www.cpu3d.com/article/7481-1/how-to-turn-your-geforce-9800gtx-into-a-gts-250/introduction.html

It will show you how to turn your gtx+ into a 250 for free!!

Really? I guess its useless since my motherboard doesnt have two slots, but at least its good to know that Nvidia has kept the 8800Ultra around for as long as GTS250..... Its actually amazing that it has lasted almost 5 years on the GPU market and is STILL considerd a middle end card that can run games like Crysis on High....
