Can you still keep good temps in a really small case?

So my current build is this:

AsRock H97 Pro4 w/ 8GB DDR3 RAM
GTX 1080 Windforce OC
Intel - Core i5-4590 3.3GHz Quad-Core Processor
**NZXT Phantom Case
CRYORIG H7 CPU Cooler
Seagate - Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive

My temps on this are very good. NZXT Phatom case is large and weighs 25 lbs though...

Hypothetical upgrade (keeping my GPU): https://pcpartpicker.com/list/wfzwmq

Asus - ROG Strix Z370-I Gaming Mini ITX LGA1151 Motherboard w/ 16GB DDR4 RAM
GTX 1080 Windforce OC (keeping the same GPU)
Intel - Core i5-8600K 3.6GHz 6-Core Processor
***CORSAIR CARBIDE AIR 240 Micro-ATX and Mini-ITX Case,

*** but I would need to get another cooler... :( any recomendations?
Samsung - 850 EVO-Series 500GB 2.5" Solid State Drive

I'm wondering if even though it will be more cramped in the case if you think my temps could still stay low with another cooler in the new case? Any recomendations?

It's a shame because I'm really wanting a smaller case this time around but I love my CYRORIG H7...

Solution
It wouldn't be dangerous, just it would run warmer, which isn't that big of a deal, you only will loose around 3% in FPS cause of how GPU boost works with temps.

As for the CPU cooler, yeah try going with a 120mm AIO as said above.

Would it be dangerous to run a gaming rig in a Silverstone case like this?

https://www.amazon.com/SilverStone-Technology-Mini-ITX-Computer-ML08B-H/dp/B0161UXWRA/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1535574997&sr=1-1&keywords=Silverstone+ML08

or

SilverStone RVZ03 (https://www.amazon.com/SilverStone-Technology-Mini-ITX-Computer-ML08B-H/dp/B0161UXX9W/ref=sr_1_fkmr1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1535572455&sr=1-1-fkmr1&keywords=Silverstone%2BML0&th=1)

Could I switch coolers to a more powerful one that would fit it that case? Or if I get that case will I no question be sacrificing a lot on temps?

Thanks for the info! Is that CPU cooler compatible with Silverstone ML08-H or RVZ03B?

What cooler would you guys recommend if I went with that case and this build:
