Hey Guys!

I was just wondering if any of you could tell me if these parts don't work together (And if you could tell me which parts don't work and some that I could replace them with that would be great!)

Parts:

CPU: Intel Core i7-4790K Haswell Quad-Core 4.0GHz LGA 1150 Desktop Processor BX80646I74790K

Motherboard: ASRock Z97 Extreme 4 LGA 1150 ATX Intel Motherboard

Memory/RAM: Crucial Ballistix Sport 16GB DDR3-1600 (PC3-12800) CL9 Dual Channel Desktop Memory Kit (Two 8GB Memory Modules)

Hard Drive: Kingston SSDNow V300 240GB SATA III 6Gb/s 2.5" Solid State Drive (SSD) SV300S37A/240G

Case: Corsair Carbide Series Spec-02 Mid-Tower ATX Gaming Computer Case

Power Supply: Corsair CX Series CX750M 750 Watt ATX Modular Power Supply

Graphics/Video Card: MSI Radeon R9 270 Overclocked 2048MB PCIe 3.0 x16 Video Card

Operating system: Microsoft Windows 8.1 32/64-bit Full Version

If you could tell me if these parts are compatible that would be great!

they are compatible but i would get a different case With more fans. i would get a different Board than Asrock as they tend to be less reliable. i would also get a after market cpu cooler so you could overclock good

You may want to think about a different PSU. I heard the CX series Corsair PSU's used poor capacitors. I could be wrong though. Someone better in the know can chime in on that.

I was referring to the power supply and not the case. I have no clue about the case. Usually the case a personal choice.

I wouldn't be a good source for that suggestion really. However, I do know EVGA G2 series power supply (PSU) is a good one to go with. I just ordered a 750W EVGA G2 myself and in the process of putting that into my new build. It is a bit pricey.

i agree, build is unbalanced. judging from the parts i'll assume your budget is 1000USD so i'll build from there. and also assume your desired resolution is a single 1080p @ 60 Hz.

well is your max budget $1000 USD? if so, then not without lowering you GPU which is essentially more important than anything else. also, if this is just to play minecraft, you don't need any of those parts, and could get just as much performance for half the price. it would be the difference between 100 FPS and 300 FPS (which wouldn't matter most displays are 60 Hz meaning 60 FPS max).
