I recently ordered parts to build my own pc and I don't know if you can transfer the operating system to the newer pc or if I have to buy a new one

Solution

It's not as easy as simply removing the old drivers.
Often, this will require a full reinstall, no matter what you may do with the drivers.

And then comes the activation issue. Upon seeing the new hardware, Windows will become unactivated.
What OS is this?
An up to date Win 10, you can probably move the licensing over.
Something else may be problematic.

So...
What OS is this, and where did it come from?

This is your PC. You need to know where to find them.
Go to the manufacturers websites and look around. You'll find it.

Back when I was an aircraft weapons instructor...many times someone would ask me: "What's the setting for X?"
I pointed to the large bookcase over on the wall...."Tell me which page you did not find it on."

i dont exactly see why i would need to know where to find them if this is a one time thing with geforce automatically installing drivers for me after this and i dont plan on ever doing it myself again but whatever
