Question Can you turn on case/chassis fans with motherboard and power supply ONLY?

I tried connecting it but didnt work. Motherboard is on. Below are the pictures of my connection. Please let me know if i did something wrong.

Specs:
Motherboard : asrock b550 extreme 4
Power supply : Cooler master mwe 650 bronze v2
Case : antec df700 flux

Update your post to include full system hardware specs and OS information.

Not sure about your question but my immediate answer is that fans should only be powered via motherboard and PSU.

No other external connection or power sources needed.

What exactly are you trying to do?

Hi! Thanks for replying. I have updated my post. Please have a look at them. I dont have cpu gpu ram and ssd.. i only have motherboard power supply and case.I bought the case and wanted to check if the fans are working or not. It will take me 15 days before i can get my cpu and gpu . Its coming from abroad. So i wanted to make sure my cpu case runs.

From photos posted, looks properly connected.
I didn't see, how fans are connected though.

Wait till cpu, ram and gpu arrives.
